2025 Titleholders
Marielle Roberts-McDonald
Miss Pennsylvania Volunteer 2025 is Marielle Roberts-McDonald.
Marielle was born and raised in Luzerne County, PA. Marielle graduated from King’s College in 2020 with a bachelor’s in biology, bachelor’s in neuroscience, and a minor in dance. She continued her education and is currently a third-year medical student attending Ross University School of Medicine pursing her MD aspiring to be a pediatric surgeon.
As Miss Pennsylvania Volunteer 2025, she promotes her S.E.R.V.E. Initiative "Making Miracles Happen Against All Odds." Marielle has volunteered since she the age of seven with Shriners Hospitals for Children. She was a patient when she was a little girl for a plethora of medical conditions, making the hospital feel like her second home to her growing up. Thanks to the wonderful medical care offered through Shriners Hospitals, she can walk. She has partnered with famous rock bands like Kid Rock, wrote a children’s book, and traveled across the nation to share her “success story” and inspire others to never lose hope.

Madelyn Sheffel
Miss Pennsylvania Teen Volunteer 2025 is Madelyn Sheffel.
Madelyn Rose Sheffel attends the Honors College at Slippery Rock University, pursuing dual degrees in Math Education and Dance Performance/Choreography. She is passionate about both teaching and performing and aims to inspire future generations in the classroom and on stage.
A proud graduate of Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, Madelyn graduated first in her class. While there, she was an active member of various organizations, including the National Honor Society, National Honor Society of Dance Arts, International Thespian Society, Student Council, and Lincoln Park Dance Team, and she appeared in over 26 shows. As a fourth-generation Girl Scout, Madelyn earned her prestigious Gold Award through her cancer prevention initiative, “Stop Cancer: Attention to Prevention.” With 11 Presidential Gold Volunteer Service Awards totaling over 2400 hours of service, her commitment to community service is undeniable.
Outside of her studies and dance, Madelyn enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her five nieces and nephews. She’s also an avid Disney fan, always ready for her next adventure.
